It is unfortunate, but California is one of the most litigious states in our country.  To combat this unfortunate possibility, it is necessary that we only have officers that maintain their training on a constant basis.  We also rely on one of our best tools "communication".  We strive to provide a good rapport when interacting with the public, in a courteous and professional manner.

We maintain a current Insurance Policy that shields our client from potential law suits. We posses a license from the State of California Bureau & Investigative Services.  Our officers have successfully completed a P.O.S.T. Academy (Police Officers Standard of Training), regulated by the State of California and are constantly updating their training through their departments, coupled with their training obtained in the civilian sector by the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services.  All this training is a unparalleled benefit when it comes to liability.

When it is necessary to use tactics that have not been achieved by communication, we rely heavily on the "escalation of force" method.  The use of less-lethal force is achieved by a "Taser Gun, Pepper Spray or Expandable Baton".  Our preference is to use the taser gun, which is deployed when there is a subject(s) that pose a direct harm to the public or our officers. 

The taser gun specifically targets an individual and incapacitates them until the direct threat has been eliminated, and the officer(s) can safely take the subject(s) into custody.  The "Taser Gun" has been tested safely and all officers that carry this device have undergone the direct effect.  All tasers are purchased from Taser International, which supply law enforcement agencies around the world.  

Officers have been trained in CPR / first aid and possess current certification.
